\"\"<\/a><\/span>The Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH) is setting up two collection points for medicine, sanitary materials, and essential products to be given to the Ukrainian people. These points will be set up this Thursday and Friday in the Altabix Building<\/strong> in addition to the Rectorado & Consejo Social Building<\/strong>. Both of these locations are found on the Elche Campus of the university<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The UMH has joined and is lending its support to this local initiative that was the brainchild of asociaci\u00f3n Conci\u00e9nciate<\/em> (Raise your Awareness Association), in conjunction with the firm of Kronofrio Logistics. The Elche City Hall is also involved in organizing the collection points, which the city hall wants extended throughout the entire institutional, associative, and supportive fabric of this city.<\/p>\n

In addition to these two collection points at the UMH, there are also others in other city neighborhoods and outlaying areas. The aim is to acquire 22,000 kilograms of medicine, non-perishable foodstuffs, and other essential items. All the material that is donated will then leave on Saturday, March 5, bound for the Ukrainian border. Then, with assistance by other associations, these products will be distributed among Ukrainian refugees.<\/p>\n
