The Vice Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation at the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH) is proud to announce a new edition of UMH Welcome Days. This hybrid (online and in-person) event will serve to introduce the university, highlighting its facilities, services, etc., available to incoming Erasmus+, SICUE, and Destino students. This event is taking place on two separate dates, first electronically on Thursday September 12, 2024, and then in-person, on Friday September 27, 2024.<\/p>\n
On these days, personnel from the Service of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism will introduce the UMH to new Erasmus+, SICUE, and Destino students. The schedule for the first session, on Thursday, September 12, begins at 12:30 p.m. Central European Time, and then will finish about 1:15 p.m. In addition to a presentation of the university and the aforementioned service, this session will also address university procedures that these students need to know about. Then, on September 27, an in-person session will begin at 10:30 a.m. CET, and it will offer workshops and also include presentations of the remaining services that the UMH can offer its students.<\/p>\n
UMH Welcome Days offers various workshops so that incoming Erasmus+, SICUE, and Destino students can learn about the services offered by the university. They will also receive information about the possibilities for finding housing, they learn about university facilities, as well as about athletic and cultural offerings. These students will also receive information about the Club Erasmus, the Buddy Program, and other useful tips for getting to know people from other countries who speak different languages and exhibit other cultures.<\/p>\n
