\"\"<\/a><\/span>Alberto Rodr\u00edguez, the Deputy Vice Rector for Internationalization at the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH), along with the Director of the Service of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism, Inmaculada Blaya, attended the presentation for PROTECT, aka the \u2018Patient Risk Oversight: Teaching, Education, and Clinical Training\u2019 blended intensive program.<\/p>\n

This program is comprised of an online portion, which took place during the months of June & July 2024, as well as an in-person portion this week, whose epicenter is the San Campus of the UMH. The partner universities for this program include NOVA University Lisbon (Portugal), RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (Germany), and LAB University of Applied Sciences (Finland). This edition of the blended intensive program has some 30 enrolled students who are studying medicine, health, health economics and occupational therapy, and they hail from Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Finland.<\/p>\n

This program is a feature of a new mobility action from the Erasmus+ program that are called Blended Intensive Programs. BIPs aim to combine online learning and teamwork along with short-term mobility so that its participants, from various European universities, undergo training via virtual collaboration and also by carrying out short stays at partner universities.<\/p>\n

Blended intensive program enhance the ability to generate and implement innovative teaching and learning at participating higher educational institutions.<\/p>\n
