\"\"<\/a>The registration period for individuals interested in attending the University of the Fall VIII is now open. This event, to be held on Thursday and Friday, January 30 & 31, 2025, is taking place at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). It is featuring experts and professionals in the areas of cooperation, sustainability, and human well-being.<\/p>\n

The University of the Fall is an interuniversity meeting organized by the five public Valencian universities, and the current edition is being held under the motto of \u201cBridges toward Global Equity: Sustainable Development and Human Well-being.\u201d This event will share experiences and knowledge on topics of inclusive and sustainable well-being, emphasizing aspects relevant to the realm of development cooperation on national, regional, and local Valencian levels of cooperation, and above all to reflect on the participation by universities as primary actors that decisively foster sustainability in development processes, as well as the actions by the other stakeholders that are participating.<\/p>\n

The Vice Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation is covering the expenses for registration, travel to and from the event, plus those related to accommodations for university community members* who are interested in attending. Those who are interested in doing so must complete the application form found below by January 13, 2025.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION FORM<\/a><\/p>\n

*Associated event expenses will be covered for up to 20 people, and based on the order that they register with the application form.<\/p>\n

Registration for the event includes meals for those people attending.<\/p>\n

Undergraduate students attending this event will receive 0.5 transversal competency credits provided they attend at least 75% of this event.<\/p>\n

This event is part of the activities contemplated in the collaboration agreement that was signed by the Generalitat Valenciana, its second vice president, the Ministry for Social Services, Equality and Housing, in addition to the UMH, to co-fund \u201c2023 University Development Cooperation Programs by the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche\u201d (CONV. UMH-GVA REF. SOLCIF 2023\/0005).<\/p>\n
