The UMH and the University of Guadalajara<\/a><\/strong>, one of the most prominent educational institutions in Mexico, have strengthened ties by signing an extensive and specific mobility agreement for their students and faculty<\/strong>. This agreement was signed at the CUCOSTA campus that the University of Guadalajara has in the city of Puerto Vallarta. Participants in the signing included CUCOSTA Rector, Marco Antonio Cort\u00e9s\u00a0Guardado<\/strong>, and representing the UMH was Deputy Vice Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Luis Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

University of Guadalajara CUCOSTA Rector, Marco Antonio Cort\u00e9s, and Associate Professor Jos\u00e9 Luis Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/p><\/div>\n

The University of Guadalajara, located in the state of Jalisco, is the second largest Mexican university in terms of enrolled students. This agreement will allow mobility to the 15 campuses of the University of Guadalajara, some as noteworthy as that of Puerto Vallarta, which offers many incentives for motivating UMH faculty and student mobility. This agreement covers 24 degree programs, 16 of which are undergraduate and 8 that are master\u2019s programs.<\/p>\n

Associate Professor Gonz\u00e1lez, in addition to meeting with Rector Cort\u00e9s Guardado, also met with department directors and degree program coordinators at the Puerto Vallarta campus<\/strong>, where he presented the UMH and explained the specific agreements that have been signed between both institutions.<\/p>\n

Finally, as part of the UMH internationalization plan and its strategy for fortifying international relations with Mexican universities, Associate Professor Gonz\u00e1lez will also travel to the Autonomous University of San Luis Potos\u00ed\u00a0(Mexico)<\/a><\/strong> in the upcoming days, where he will sign another faculty and student mobility agreement.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
