As part of the UMH internationalization strategy, a framework agreement with the Autonomous University of San Luis Potos\u00ed<\/a>, (UASLP, Mexico)<\/strong> has been renewed, in addition to new agreements signed for faculty and student mobility. The ceremony presenting the agreements took place in the assembly hall at that university\u2019s Faculty of Communication, and its participants included the UASLP Registrar, Anuar Abraham Kasis<\/strong>, and the director of said faculty, Jorge H\u00e9ctor \u00c1vila<\/strong>; representing the UMH was Associate Professor of Journalism and Deputy Vice Rector for International Relations, Jos\u00e9 Luis Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The UASLP is synonymous with San Luis\u00a0Potos\u00ed, a colonial city whose historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city, located in the center of Mexico, gives its name to the state wherein it belongs, and has more than 2.5 million inhabitants. It is one of the most historic institutions of higher education throughout Mexico, founded in 1923, and currently with some 30,000 students enrolled.<\/p>\n

During his brief stay at the UASLP, Dr. Gonz\u00e1lez had the opportunity to visit the installations of the new and modern Audiovisual Communications building, the avant-garde Bicentenario Cultural University Center, in addition to the colonial building with significant artistic value housing the Rectorate of this prestigious Mexican university.
