<\/a>Aiming to strengthen relationships between the partner universities of the European University of Brain and Technology, NeurotechEU, a delegation from the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH) visited the University of Lille (ULille; Lille, France) June 11 & 12, 2025. Welcoming the UMH group was Kathleen O\u2019Connor, the leader of the NeurotechEU project at ULille, along with personnel from the ULille Office of International Relations. The UMH delegation was comprised of Inmaculada Blaya, the Director of Service of International Relations and Cooperation; and UMH project managers, Maria Jos\u00e9 Such, an expert in quality assurance; and Sonia Mart\u00edn. They spent two days collaborating and sharing experiences with their French counterparts.<\/p>\nWith over 10 people taking part in the visit, they were able to exchange ideas and working methods in the alliance. Furthermore, the UMH toured the Office if International Relations at the University of Lille; its Direction of Promotion and International Projection, in addition to the joint Office for European Projects, Research, Training, and Continuous Education. The Spanish group was also to attend the monthly meeting of the French team at NeurotechEU.<\/p>\n
According to the UMH delegation, the French university of NeurotechEU stands outs for its structured focus towards internationalization, its innovative focus on pedagogy, plus its strategic European location, which facilitates it being a leading university in terms of internationalization.<\/p>\n
The NeurotechEU European Alliance is a project co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union that aims to provide the scientific community with higher education and research focused on neurotechnology, the goal of which is addressing health issues related to neuroscience and mental health through affordable technologies. Besides the UMH, the NeurotechEU alliance includes seven other universities: Radboud University, the Netherlands; Karolinska Institutet, Sweden; University of Bonn, Germany; Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University, T\u00fcrkiye; Universitatea de Medicin\u0103 \u0219i Farmacie din Cluj-Napoca, Romania; University of Lille, France; and the University of Reykjavik, Iceland.<\/p>\n
