{"id":41681,"date":"2025-10-28T13:16:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T12:16:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/internacional.umh.es\/?p=41681"},"modified":"2025-10-30T09:57:40","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T08:57:40","slug":"la-umh-imparte-un-curso-a-universidades-latinoamericanas-que-une-inteligencia-artificial-y-los-ods","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/internacional.umh.es\/en\/2025\/10\/28\/la-umh-imparte-un-curso-a-universidades-latinoamericanas-que-une-inteligencia-artificial-y-los-ods\/","title":{"rendered":"UMH teaches course for Latin American universities on artificial intelligence and SDGs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/internacional.umh.es\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_8840-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-41684 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/internacional.umh.es\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_8840-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/internacional.umh.es\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_8840-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/internacional.umh.es\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_8840-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/internacional.umh.es\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_8840-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/internacional.umh.es\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_8840-1536x863.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/internacional.umh.es\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_8840-2048x1150.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/span>During the week of October 22-26, 2025, in Quorum I Hall on the Elche Campus, the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH) hosted the first edition of the study abroad, \u2018Internationalization, Management of Scientific Parks, and Artificial Intelligence.\u2019 This comprehensive program included in-person training on artificial intelligence, capital wealth, and the Sustainable Development Goals, among other topics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This training activity, coordinated by UMH Professor, Fernando Borr\u00e1s, addressed some of this university\u2019s major endeavors, such as internationalization, the UMH Scientific Park, and artificial intelligence, during sessions on international projection tools, technology push methodologies, and the impact of AI on distinct university areas, among many other aspects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Moreover, over five days of activities, the program also included gastronomic opportunities, such as a tasting of typical food products from Elche in its historic center, and a guided tour of the most emblematic locations around the city of Elche.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Students taking part in this study abroad program hailed from Latin America, and they represented the University of Cauca (Colombia), National University of Tumbes (Peru), and the Technical University of Ambato (Ecuador).
