<\/a>Rectorado & Consejo Social Hall was the venue for the Exchange of Good Experiences Workshop among the university faculties, schools, and institutes that took part in the UMH Program of Actions for the Internationalization of Schools, Faculties, and Research Institutes (AIEFI) in 2025. This hybrid meeting, whose participants were both in-person and remote, served to take \u201ca more than satisfactory stock\u201d in terms of UMH international projection, according to Vice Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation, Vicente Micol.<\/p>\nDuring the event, which was also attended by Deputy Vice Rector for Internationalization, Alberto Rodr\u00edguez; Director of Mobility, \u00c1frica Mart\u00ednez; Director of International Promotion, Mari Carmen Lillo; and Director of the Service of International Relations, Inma Blaya; the remaining program participants presented the actions that were carried out throughout 2025, emphasizing the initiatives that achieved the best outcomes and that can serve as inspiration for the improvement and designs of future actions.<\/p>\n
Micol highlighted \u201cthe improvement in incoming mobility numbers,\u201d in reference to the international students who visited the UMH on mobility programs. The main objective in the new call is to devise strategies that foster and facility outcoming mobility for UMH students.<\/p>\n
Among new AIEFI features was the presentation of a mobility data visualization and management tool that was created by the Vice Rectorate, intended for the managing teams at schools, faculties, and research institutes, so they can monitor mobility and internationalization programs.<\/p>\n
In its eleventh edition, participating UMH units are going to be required to meet a set of criteria to assess, such as the suitability of the proposals submitted, the diversity of the actions proposed, and the scope of the expected results, measured by the number of benefiting faculty and students.<\/p>\n
Likewise, the outcomes of activities funded in 2025, the increase in number of incoming and outgoing students and professors over the last three academic years, and the increase in the number of agreements aimed at teacher or student exchanges during the same period, are also going to be evaluated.<\/p>\n
The call for applications for the current AIEFI program is now open and shall remain so through January 19 for actions in 2026. This program aims to strengthen the international projection of the UMH and promote strategic planning for the internationalization of bachelor and master programs and the university units responsible for them.<\/p>\n
