Participating in it were seven general practitioners from Nemba Hospital, Ruhengeri District Hospital, as well as the hospitals of Rutongo and Ruli. To accomplish this, the professionals completed several theoretical and practical exercises. The course also presented its students with theoretical knowledge on Doppler echocardiography, a technique that enables observing a live beating heart. This course\u2019s training is considered an essential element within the development plan of the ICU at Nemba Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>According to Francisco Colomina, the participating physicians demonstrated a high degree of personal involvement throughout the course, so continuing this kind of training in the form of online sessions was requested, aimed at discussing and analyzing cases from the participants\u2019 clinical practice.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UMH Headquarters in Rwanda Chair at the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH) has taught a specialized course on cardiology at Nemba Hospital in Rwanda.
