Francisco Hern\u00e1ndez, a Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH) staff member and instructor in the Master\u2019s in Occupational Risk Prevention, recently visited Clemson University in the United States to share his knowledge on occupational safety and health procedures within the European Union. His stay was made possible thanks to the Destino program for teaching and management internationalization activities of the UMH Vice Rectorate for International Relations. The intention of his stay was to improve procedures and processes related to occupational safety and health at the UMH through observation of the procedures applied at Clemson.<\/p>\n
During his stay, Francisco Hern\u00e1ndez met with his American counterparts in the Office of Research Safety and with Clemson\u2019s graduate program coordinator for the Department of Psychology\u2019s Ph.D. and MS programs, Robert Sinclair, who expressed interest in possible collaboration with the UMH on student mobility. Hern\u00e1ndez also established contact with the Office of Global Engagement at Clemson to foster a collaboration agreement between both academic institutions.<\/p>\n
While at Clemson, Francisco Hern\u00e1ndez also met with Professor Sean Williams, an expert in communication and leadership. They are working together on the Leadership program.<\/p>\n
