Juana Aznar, UMH Director of Development Cooperation and Volunteerism, took part in the ‘Meeting on University Volunteerism and 2030 Agenda,’ which was put together by the University Jaume I of Castellón (UJI) on April 18 in situ at the facilities of the Castellón university.

Aznar highlighted the social and health volunteerism actions that have been ongoing in Rwanda for over 10 years and explained the keys to volunteering at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche.

This meeting, which was organized by the Chair for Sustainable Development Cooperation at the UJI, aimed to reflect on contributions from volunteers towards attaining the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and it received participation from representatives of all 5 public Valencian Community universities. The theme of this meeting aligned with the SDGs of the UN 2030 Agenda, and focused especially on SDG 4, Quality Education; SDG 10, Reduced Inequalities; and SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals.
