Campuses of Miguel Hernández University
Miguel Hernández University has four campuses located in the towns of Elche, Sant Joan d’Alacant, Orihuela, and Altea. The following faculties and schools are located on these campuses:

Courses Taught in English
Incoming students may enrol in courses taught in English that belong to Bachelor’s Degrees or Official Master’s Degrees, provided that they are taught on the same campus.
Important Information
- Incoming students cannot combine Bachelor’s Degree and Official Master’s Degree courses during their stay.
- Students wishing to take Official Master’s Degree courses must submit an official certificate issued by their home university confirming that they meet the academic requirements necessary to enrol in studies at this level.
- Before selecting courses, students are advised to check the campus, semester, language of instruction, and timetables to ensure that their enrolment is compatible.

Online Information
Once your enrolment as an exchange student or visiting student has been completed, you will become part of the UMH university community and will have access to the university’s main digital tools and services.
With your enrolment, you will receive a username and an institutional email account (format ), which will allow you to access:
- Virtual Campus and course materials.
- Information about lecturers, timetables, and examinations.
- Official UMH communications.
- Cultural activities, courses, and news of interest.
- Online university services and resources.
Important
Check your institutional email account regularly, as it will be the official communication channel through which UMH will contact you throughout your stay.
UMH App and Moodle
We recommend downloading the UMH App and Moodle to your mobile phone. These applications will identify you as a UMH student and allow you to access a wide range of university services.
What can you do with the UMH App?
- Identify yourself as a UMH student.
- Use the UMH Libraries loan service.
- Access university facilities and services.
- Enjoy discounts at bookshops, shops, and activities.
- Access the Virtual Secretary’s Office, where you can consult your academic record, request certificates, pay fees, and check the academic calendar.

The TIU may also include bank card functions (debit and credit) if you choose to activate this option.
