UMH-CAP Collaboration Agreement

UMH and CAP Spanish International Academy join forces to foster educational and cultural development of foreign students through athletic training and learning the Spanish language.
The Vice Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), Vicente Micol, and the founder of CAP Spanish International Academy, Sergio Pelegrín, have begun cooperation efforts between both entities to foster academic, educational, and cultural development for international students at the UMH by practicing football and taking Spanish language courses.
After signing a framework cooperation agreement, both representatives emphasized that that they will be able to coordinate common activities related to the social promotion of education, culture, research, and technological development, in addition to exchanges of students, professors, investigators, and administrative personnel. In its first stage, both entities will collaborate on sports training and academics for foreign students that will be complemented by instruction on Spanish culture and language.
CAP is a private firm whose mission is to assist young foreign footballers develop athletically, academically, and personally within the sport of football. The collaboration agreement is susceptible to include additional groups, and these may be incorporated into the agreement between both entities.
