The period to apply for grants that are jointly funded by the Tordesillas Group and Fundación Carolina for “Short Research Stays by PhD-holding Faculty at Brazilian and Portuguese Universities Belonging to the Tordesillas Group whose Destinations are Spanish Universities that also Belong to the Tordesillas Group” is now open and will remain so through April 1, 2025.

The documentation that must be sent to apply for a grant must be sent to . Applicants cannot access the Fundación Carolina website until they receive validation beforehand by the Tordesillas Group.

Faculty members who are interested must provide the following documents and abide by the following steps to apply for a Tordesillas Group & Fundación Carolina grant:

– First and last name(s).

– Email.

– Scanned copy of national ID card (passport, etc.).

– Scanned copy of applicant’s doctoral degree.

– Scanned copy of a certificate verifying the university where the applicant works.

– Name of Spanish university where the applicant wants to work along with the acceptance letter from said university, and provide the duration of the requested stay (minimum 1 month and maximum 3 months).
