Vice Rector for International Relations at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), Vicente Micol, and Paloma Jiménez, director of the NGO, International Solidarity of the Valencian Country, have signed a framework agreement of collaboration between this university and the Valencian Coordinator of NGOs (CVONGD). This agreement will enable collaboration by both entities in specific projects that are educational and cultural in nature, vocational, in addition to those involving research and technological development.

Other attendees at the agreement signing included UMH Development Cooperation and Volunteerism Director, Juan José Ballesta Payá, in addition to Paula Carrillo, a CVONGD technical staff member.

Specifically, the collaboration between the UMH and CVONGD will be based on the execution of joint cultural and educational projects & programs, cooperation in vocational training endeavors, and providing mutual advisory functions on issues related to the activities of either entity. Both will inform its counterpart about congresses, colloquia, and seminars related to international development cooperation, and carry out research and development projects & programs, among others.
