More than 60 incoming students partake in International Welcome Dinner
The Vice Rector for International Relations at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) was charged with hosting the group of incoming students who attended the International Welcome Dinner on Friday, October 21. This event, organized by the Vice Rectorate and Club Erasmus, aims to facilitate the integration of exchange students among the university community.
Each semester, the Club Erasmus holds an International Welcome Dinner for all incoming students from all four UMH campuses. Within a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, the Vice Rector shared stories and anecdotes of trips with more than 60 attendees, who themselves were tasked with sharing typical dishes from their respective countries of origin. This friendly get-together transpired, full of dancing, laughter, and above all, delicious foods from all over the world, including insalda di riso, polpette al sugo, quiche lorraine, Flammkuchen, fajitas, chilaquiles, and burek.
