UMH and UDD of Chile advance discussions on future academic agreements and student & faculty mobility exchanges

This morning, February 4, 2025, the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) welcomed the Director of Admissions, Alumni, and Community Outreach from the Faculty of Law at the University of Development (Chile), Carla Carreño, to advance academic agreements in addition to student & faculty mobility exchanges between both institutions.
Throughout the morning, Carreño met with the team at the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences of Elche, with Dean Carmen Victoria Escolano leading the group, to explore the possibilities of said academic and mobility collaboration.
Following a tour of the Elche Campus, the delegation met with Deputy Vice Rector for Internationalization, Alberto Rodríguez, to advance on the signing of an agreement that certifies the agreements between both universities. Then the delegation held a meeting with the Director of the Service of International Relations and Cooperation, Inma Blaya, to hone mobility agreements as well formalize other agreements that fit under the Erasmus+ KA171 program for mobility with third countries not associated to the program.
The University of Development (UDD) is a Chilean private higher education institution that was founded in 1990. It has facilities in the cities of Santiago and Concepción, and it offers undergraduate programs in areas that include health sciences, architecture, art, law, economics & business, communication, engineering, and psychology, among others.
