Students from the Senior Program at Kaunas University of Technology of Lithuania visit UMH

The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) recently hosted a group of students and faculty members from the senior program at Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania, who visited to learn about the UMH, its Sabiex program, and the University Classrooms of Experience (AUNEx). This visit was part of the Erasmus+ Short-term Projects for Mobility of Learners and Staff in Adult Education (KA122-ADU), and it was coordinated by the UMH Vice Rectorate for Culture, Equality and Diversity and the Vice Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation.
Esther Fuentes and Esther Sitges, the coordinators of Sabiex and the University Classrooms of Experience programs, followed the guidelines provided by Senior Erasmus+ programs with the aim of enriching educational, social, and cultural experiences, among others. During the visit, the Lithuanian group participated in a class from the workshop of Social and Artistic Skills through the Performing Arts, taught by Adán Rodríguez. They also attended a class alongside second-year AUNEx students, and after presenting their teaching program in Kaunas, they attended the course, Law and Justice, taught by UMH Professor of Constitutional Law, Charo Tur.
The visit concluded with a visit to the city of Elche, where they shared artistic and cultural insights and strengthened connections for future collaborations with European consortia that promote lifelong learning, cultural exchange, and European integration.
