Associate Dean of International Projection for the Bachelor’s in Pharmacy at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) and Vice President of the Ibero-American Conference of Faculties of Pharmacy (COIFFA), Daniela Navarro, has been appointed to form part of the prestigious Executive Committee at the European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy (EAFP).

This appointment strengthens the UMH strategic position and influence in shaping pharmaceutical education throughout Europe.

The EAFP is the leading organization that brings together the top faculties of pharmacy across Europe. Its goal is to harmonize curricula and foster excellence in teaching, as well as to adapt the skills of future pharmacists to the demands of global healthcare systems.

Thanks to its strong international reputation, the Miguel Hernández University of Elche is set to host the 13th Ibero-American Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences in November 2027. Organized by COIFFA, this international event will take place at the Faculty of Pharmacy on the UMH San Juan Campus. A large contingent of faculty and students from Europe and Ibero-America is expected to attend.
