UMH AT THE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF THE CALIFORNIAS (MEXICO) TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SECOND EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FILM PROJECT

Students from the UMH Bachelor’s in Audiovisual Communication, Luisella Fiorella Lucero Dala and Elisabet Agulló García, along with part-time lecturer, Julián Martínez Cano, are participants in the second edition of the International Student Film Project (ISFP). During the presentation of this edition, held at the International University of the Californias (UDCI) in Tijuana, Mexico, the 2017 short film, “Cuando venga a por mí,” was shown. This short was produced for the first edition of the ISFP, held in Elche, in which students from the UMH, UDCI, and the University of Beira Interior of Portugal participated.

Attending the presentation, among others, were UDCI rector, Antonio Carrillo Vilches, and the directors of its undergraduate programs of Communication Sciences and Cinematography, Martha Zaldivar and Carlos Carrillo Vilches, respectively.

The International Student Film Project is organized by the UMH Bachelor’s in Audiovisual Communication, and the International University of the Californias (Tijuana, Mexico) joined it in this edition. Other project collaborators include the Elche International Festival of Independent Film (FICIE). The Vice Rectorate for International Relations, Vice Rectorate for Culture and University Extension, and the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences of Elche represented the UMH.

This action is part of the Support for the Internationalization of Schools, Faculties, and Research Institutes (AIEFI) that is called by the Vice Rectorate for International Relations.
