UMH VOLUNTEERS IN RWANDA ATTEND A TALK ON PREVENTING INFECTIOUS DISEASES

The UMH Headquarters in Rwanda Chair has organized a talk on preventing infectious diseases in Rwanda directed at the participants in the UMH volunteer program in that country. The objective of this meeting was to remind the university community members who are traveling this year to the African country about the preventive measures they need to take to ensure their health.

The session was presented by two specialists, Félix Gutiérrez, Head of the Service of Internal Medicine in the Area of Infectious Diseases and International Health, and by Rafael Pascual, a nurse at the International Vaccination Center and responsible for providing advice to the travelers.

This chat complemented the information that has been provided to the interested and selected parties in a more specialized and specific manner since the call for volunteers was announced on the preventive measures and courses of action to take before, during, and subsequent to their stay in Rwanda.
