REPRESENTATIVES FROM GOMEL STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY VISIT THE UMH

Part of the management team and faculty from Gomel State Medical University in Belarus visited the Miguel Hernández University of Elche last week to examine routes of collaboration in terms of internationalization for students and faculty from the health sciences and related fields.

Belarusian university faculty toured the faculties of Experimental Sciences and Medicine, the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology (IBMC), Institute of Neurosciences (IN), and the Center for Research in Sports Sciences (CID), where UMH authorities presented the various units, methodologies, and resources employed. The Belarusians also visited two businesses at the UMH Scientific and Business Park: EMXYS, which specializes in electronic instrumentation and systems, and AntalGenics, which examines bioactive molecules.

Furthermore, Vice Rector for International Relations, Vicente Micol, signed a framework agreement with Gomel State Medical University as a starting point for the plans made during the visit by the Belarusian university.
