UMH PARTICIPATES IN CRUE SUSTAINABILITY WORKSHOPS ON SOCIO-ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION IN THE UN 2030 AGENDA
Representatives from the Vice Rectorate for Institutional Relations and the Environmental Office at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) attended the CRUE Sustainability Workshops on the role of universities in socio-ecological transition that are part of the framework of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The workshops were held at the Technical University of Cartagena this past October 4.
The workshops held various sessions on university sustainability, including volunteerism, gender policies, sustainable mobility, and healthy universities. What’s more, the working groups belonging to the Sustainability Sector of CRUE Universities also met to discuss the issues addressed in the thematic sessions, and they held a plenary meeting for make decisions and reach agreements. During such sessions, the UMH Environmental office coordinated the evaluation panel on university sustainability.
