NUMBER OF MOBILITY AGREEMENTS WITH UNIVERSITIES OUTSIDE THE EU INCREASES BY 85%

Over the last four years, the number of mobility agreements at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) has increased by 85% with universities outside the European Union and by 38% with other universities inside it. These agreements mean that this university now has agreements with every EU country in addition to 23 other countries beyond it.
Currently, the UMH maintains 489 Erasmus+, 396 SICUE, and 174 Destino program agreements. Furthermore, it possesses 17 dual degree agreements and 1 Erasmus Mundo agreement, a joint master’s program. These growing figures have strengthened international links with partner universities and enabled the sharing and exchanging of expertise and learning about different cultures.
Overall, the investments made by the Service of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism in mobility programs are seeing positive results. The initiatives set in motion are different and varied, and permit the entire university community to enjoy international experiences at the same that people from partner institutions can acquire new intercultural and multilingual experiences.
