The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) has participated in an education forum at Chongqing University of China, together with other Chinese, Italian, and Spanish universities. During this university encounter, the UMH advanced collaboration agreements with Ma’anshan University, of Anhui, along with Chongqing Preschool Education College, whose main seat is located in the city of Chongqing. The trip was part of a joint international projection action coordinated between the Vice Rectorate for International Relations, represented by the Deputy Vice Rector for International Relations & International Projection, José Luis González, and the UMH Language Center, which was represented by its Director of Development, Ana Esclapez.

During the event, professor González met with the Rector of Chongqing Preschool Education College, Liu Weidong, as well as with the Vice Rector for International Relations at Ma’anshan University, professor Haonan Chen. While there, the deputy vice rector gave a presentation at the forum, entitled “Challenges and Motivations for Undertaking an International Mobility Experience in Spain.”

This joint action between the Vice Rectorate for International Relations and the Quorum Foundation, through its Language Center, aims to coordinate an attractive academic offer that includes learning Spanish, as well as reinforcing English language training, to Chinese students who will come in the near future to complete their education at the UMH.
