Online Course of Active Strategies for Education on the SDGs: Gamification and Escape Rooms

The registration period is open for the online course, Active Strategies for Education on the SDGs: Gamification and Escape Rooms, which is intended for Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) faculty and research personnel.

This course is 20 hours long, and made up activities that take place during parts of February and March 2021. Its 8 hours of (classroom) participation are in the form of four 2-hour-long Meet sessions on February 15, 17, and 18, and March 2, 2021, all from 5 – 7 p.m. Its online participation takes place in either a chat room, Meet, or Google Group, to accompany the completion of tasks.

This course addresses the principles of gamification, the application of the sustainable development goals (SDG) in a training program, and concepts such as educational escape rooms and breakout EDU. Moreover, it affords technological and analog resources for gamification and practical knowledge through the design of activities based on gamification.
