The Ministry of Innovation, Universities, Science and the Digital Society, along with the rectors from the public Valencian Universities, have agreed to resume, starting March 1, the blended (classroom & distance) teaching models that each university had initially planned and approved for the teaching of classes during Spring Semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. The agreement was reached yesterday during a virtual meeting, in which the rector of the Miguel Hernández of Elche (UMH), Juan José Ruiz, participated.

Another agreement reached during this meeting was to apply the contingency plans established and implemented by each university to continue ensuring public safety on campuses and preserving the health of university communities.

The Ministry of Innovation, Universities, Science and the Digital Society and the Public Valencian Universities also agreed yesterday to continue working together to adopt decisions that, at all times, are considered most appropriate for providing quality education and ensuring maximum safety for people, keeping in mind the fluid health situation and evaluating the measures adopted based on it.
