Three Minutes Thesis Competition by Neurotechᴱᵁ on UMH News

The radio program, UMH News, has interviewed Juana Gallar Martínez, a UMH professor of physiology, to speak about the Three Minutes Thesis Competition (3MT), a contest in which participants present their research in just 3 minutes.

This event is organized by The European University of Brain and Technology (Neurotechᴱᵁ), of which the UMH forms part. The registration period to participate in it will remain open through October 8, 2021.

According to professor Gallar, this competition is promoted to form part of the annual NeurotechEU meeting, which the consortium will hold in November.

Registration for this contest is free, and UMH students conducting research at any level and who want to present their undergraduate, master, or doctoral thesis in this manner are eligible to participate. Six semi-finalists will initially be named, and ultimately 2 participants will be chosen to present their thesis at the big event.

The European University of Brain and Technology (Neurotechᴱᵁ) is a project in which the UMH is a partner in a European consortium comprised of 8 universities. Researchers from the Institute of Neurosciences are leading UMH efforts, and this initiative is bringing together faculty and researchers from the areas of neuroscience and technology, technicians from the Service of International Relations, plus the Vice Rectorate for International Relations at the UMH.
