The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) has taken part in the “Study Buenos Aires” internationalization event, which was organized by SEPIE (Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education) in conjunction with the education managers at the Argentinian Embassy in Spain, who also coordinate these meeting spaces in Chile and Uruguay.

Following a short seminar organized by Argentinian colleagues, bilateral meetings were held between Spanish universities and universities from the Buenos Aires metropolitan area. Intervening on behalf of the UMH was Deputy Vice Rector for International Relations – International Projection, José Luis González, who met with managers from the services of internationalization at National University of José Clemente Paz (UNPAZ) and the University of Flores (UFLO) in addition to other academic authorities from these Argentinian universities.

This introductory meeting served to advance the signings of framework agreements to allow increasing international mobility between both countries. The National University of José Clemente Paz and the University of Flores are both young universities, which are expanding throughout not only Buenos Aires, but also growing in terms of education and research, and they consider the UMH a good partner to improve their standards of internationalization.
