This morning, the Vice Rector for International Relations at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), Vicente Micol Molina, welcomed Mercedes Serracin, who is the Director of Study Abroad from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University (ISU).

Other participants in their meeting included Deputy Vice Rector for International Relations – International Projection, José Luis González; Professor José Ángel Pérez Álvarez, and Iowa State University associate professor, Rodrigo Tarté.

During their meeting, they began talks to offer joint graduate training with mobility for students between both universities.

Pérez Álvarez and Tarté have collaborated for several years, and this served as a catalyst for this morning’s meeting, which represents stepping stones for a successful relationship between the UMH and ISU.
