The UMH Language Center also offers a 32-hour-long intensive online course during July 2023 designed for beginning learners of Italian: Livello Elementare (A2 and the first cracks at a B1 level). The course objective is to enjoy these dynamic classes, with cooperative learning and interaction (in pairs and groups), and to improve communicative skills, both speaking as well as written, in accordance with the directives of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. Furthermore, the UMH Language Center offers fully online intensive Spanish classes during the month of July. The aim of these is for its students to learn to communicate in the most efficient manner possible, and for them to feel confident when interacting with others. The Service of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism offers intensive courses on Spanish language and culture to facilitate integration by UMH incoming students (from the Erasmus, Destino, and other official exchange/mobility programs). The aim of these fully online and free courses is for visiting students to get to know one another, adapt, and reinforce their Spanish language skills and to learn about the peculiarities of Spanish culture.
