This week, the Service of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), along with the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences of Elche and the Elche Business Park, are hosting Jenny Ruíz de la Peña and Leydis Lamoth Borrero, two professors from the Cuban University of Holguín. This meeting was made possible by the framework of the “Consolidation of the management of Scientific and Technological Park to enhance their impact upon territorial economies: adaptation of Spanish experiences in Cuba” international cooperation project.

This project is co-funded by a collaboration agreement between the Generalitat Valenciana, via its second vice president, the Regional Ministry of Social Sciences, Equality and Housing, and the UMH. During their stay, professors Ruíz de la Peña and Lamoth Borrero, together with the UMH individual responsible for the project, Carmen Victoria Escolano, will prepare a guide to assist management of a multi-themed scientific and technological park in Holguin in addition to strengthening the capabilities of the managers of said park through technical guidance provided by the Elche Business Park. Meetings are also being held with the investigative team, and between the investigative team with other UMH investigators to advance this research project.
