UMH bolsters internationalization in United States
3 June 2024
The Deputy Vice Rector for Internationalization at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), Alberto Rodríguez, attended the 2024 NAFSA International Fair in New Orleans, Louisiana. The primary objective of this fair is to put university institutions in contact to formalize international student agreements and to strengthen those already in existence.
On this occasion, the UMH met with several universities from all over the world to attempt to establish relationships and to strengthen links with them. Both the UMH and the University of Alicante attend this fair hand in hand with the Costa Blanca Tourist Board, which provides space at the stand in which both universities promote themselves.
Furthermore, the UMH signed an exchange agreement that will enable student stays from the UMH at Utah Tech University in St. George (Utah). This is one of the most important polytechnical universities in the state of Utah, with more than 12,000 students enrolled in many undergraduate and graduate programs.
