Last week, the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) participated at the thirteenth Meeting between Spanish and North American Universities in an event at the University of Alicante that served to promote the international offering of the UMH, and more specifically, UMH study abroad programs.

Deputy Vice Rector for Internationalization, Alberto Rodríguez, and mobility technician, Paul Nordstrom, held meetings with representatives of the entity organizing this event, APUNE (Association of American Programs in Spain), as well as with members of SEPIE (Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education), and US consular service representatives.

Throughout this meeting, event participants reflected on how to adapt language and culture instruction, without losing its essence, to prepare exchange students for a changing world and on the need to maintain linguistic and cultural links in English-language studies.
