UMH promotes university internationalization in Morocco
27 January 2026
The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) attended the tenth edition of the Study in Spain Fair that was held in Tangier, Morocco, under the organization of the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE).
Alberto Rodríguez, Deputy Vice Rector for Internationalization; along with Mari Carmen Lillo, Director of International Promotion; attended this event and met with students there who are in their senior and final year of high school and who have expressed interest in continuing with their higher education at the UMH.
Attending this fair affords opportunities to raise awareness of the academic offerings available at this university within the Spanish higher education system, and to highlight UMH degree programs with high educational value and promising career opportunities. The Spanish representatives also provide personalized information and guidance to Moroccan students about the various academic opportunities offered at the UMH, and this can help them make more informed decisions about their university future.
By attending this fair, the UMH continues along and strengthens its commitment to internationalization, recruiting international talent, and fostering academic mobility. Ultimately, these efforts strengthen educational and cultural exchanges between Spain and Morocco.
