Humanity in Action: The Red Cross’s Response to International Crises. Experiences from the Field. Free online event on May 13, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m.
This event will bring together leading experts who will share their experiences from the field. We will address the humanitarian situation in Palestine and the Middle East and health interventions with Patricia Garrido of CRE in Palestine; changes in migration patterns as they pass through the Darien Gap with Patricia Sánchez of CRE in Panama; the role of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo; and coordination in international emergencies with Ana Mompó of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
This is an opportunity to learn, connect with colleagues in the sector, and explore ways to collaborate to make a difference in the world.
