Framework Agreement Signed between UMH and School of Medicine at Zhejiang University (China)

The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) and the School of Medicine at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China (SAHZU)—more specifically, the second affiliated hospital of the Chinese university—have signed a framework agreement aimed at building bridges between the two institutions. Antonio Arroyo, Professor of Surgery at the UMH and Head of Surgery at the General University Hospital of Elche, represented the UMH at the signing ceremony held at the Chinese university.
This international partnership marks the beginning of an academic relationship whose primary goal is to collaborate in science, education, and healthcare. SAHZU and the UMH share common interests in training future healthcare professionals and driving scientific innovation.
The agreement, signed by Vicente Micol, UMH Vice Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation, includes the implementation of joint educational and cultural programs and projects, in addition to exchanges of students, faculty, researchers, and administrative staff via educational cooperation programs.
The second affiliated hospital at the School of Medicine of Zhejiang University in China, founded in 1897, is a comprehensive tertiary public hospital dedicated to the integration of medical care, education, and research.
