Representatives from four Belgian universities visited the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) this week to learn about UMH services and its educational offering in addition to strengthening links with the Spanish institution.

The activities that took place facilitated the exchange of opinions and courses of action in matters concerning human resources and quality between the Spanish institution and the four from Belgium – University College Brussels, University College West Flanders, Artesis Plantijn University College, and PXL University College – subjects in which they showed particular interest.

To accomplish this, the Service of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism organized round tables with active participation by the Belgian managers, in addition to the Deputy Vice Rector for International Relations, Deputy Vice Rector for Institutional Relations, Deputy Vice Rector for Academic Affairs – Accreditation of Qualifications, Assistant Manager for Human Resources, and the Service Director of Faculty and Research Personnel. Moreover, matters of innovation and entrepreneurship were discussed with the Belgian colleagues at the UMH Scientific and Business Park.
