EPSO PERSONNEL PROVIDE TRAINING AT THE ARMENIAN NATIONAL AGRARIAN UNIVERSITY

Faculty and staff from the School of Engineering of Orihuela (EPSO) at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) recently visited the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU). This action was funded by the European Union and falls within the Erasmus+ K107 program, which is run the Vice Rectorate for International Relations.

UMH representatives who traveled to ANAU included professors David Bernardo López, from the Area of Economics, Sociology and Agricultural Policy; Ana Martí, Area of Animal Production; Santiago García, Area of Genetics; and Adrián Grau, a staff member from the Service of Innovation and Technical Support for Education and Research.

During their stay, the UMH delegation presented seminars on lines of work and programs of study at the EPSO. Furthermore, Adrián Grau was able to tour the installations at the EVN Wine Academy Faculty, which is part of the International Center for Agribusiness Research and Education.

More than 50 students and faculty from the Armenian university attended the sessions given by the UMH representatives, and they exhibited a keen interest in collaborating in the project and carrying out mobility stays at the EPSO in Orihuela.

During the 2018/2019 academic year, EPSO professionals carried out a stay at ANAU and implemented a project involving practices with crops and livestock in addition to another involving the integration of people with functional diversity; the latter of these two is something that has been ongoing at the EPSO since 2015.
