2021 Training Workshops for Neurosmartology Project Participants Begin
The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) has begun the 2021 training workshops for the participants in the Neurosmartology project, a strategic alliance of higher education that aims for the implementation of consumer neuroscience and smart research solutions in aromachology. Representatives from the UMH at this event include professors Esther Sendra Nadal, David López Lluch, and Francisca Hernández García. Welcoming the attendants were Vice Rector for International relations, Vicente Micol, and EPSO director, Ricardo Abadía.
The purpose for these workshops, which are being held virtually March 1-5, is to plan for the dissemination of the publications that result from this project, which will finalize in August 2021. Since 2019, several studies have been conducted to assess, for example, the identification of and association with aromas, customer satisfaction in food stores, jobs via the installation of aromatization equipment, and panels.
The Neurosmartology project is funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 program. In addition to the UMH, project partners include the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Catholic University in Ružomberok, University of Southern Denmark, Poznań University of Economics and Business, and the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague. Participating businesses include REIMA AirConcept GmbH, of Germany, and Aroma Marketing, of Slovakia.
