UMH Welcomes Rector from University of the Caribbean in Panama

The Rector of the University of the Caribbean in Panama (UC), Moisés Moya Hernández, visited the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) yesterday, March 17, to establish educational cooperation and to strengthen spaces for collaboration between both institutions.

UMH Rector, Juan José Ruiz, provided a welcome for Moya, and they met with Vice Rector for International Relations, Vicente Micol, along with Deputy Vice Rector for International Relations – International Projection, José Luis González, and International Doctorate Director, María Pastor. The objective of their meeting was to strengthen ties between both institutions and explore possible academic and research links in various areas of interest to both the UMH and the Panamanian institution.

The University of the Caribbean in Panama is a new institution of higher education that was founded with an entrepreneurial spirit in 2011. It strives to provide excellent education and to contribute to development in Panama.
