UMH delegation visits DOCINADE consortium in Costa Rica

Alianzas, INTERNATIONALIZATION

16 October 2023

A delegation from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) has visited five sites at three Costa Rican universities that comprise the Doctoral Program in Natural Sciences for Development (DOCINADE) consortium: the National University of Costa Rica (UNA), Technological Institute of Costa Rica (TEC), and the State Distance University of Costa Rica (UNED). UMH representatives include Alberto Rodríguez, Deputy Vice Rector for Internationalization; José María Sabater, Director of the School of Engineering of Elche (EPSE), along with Professor, Miguel Ángel de la Casa.

The visit aims to strengthen links and enhance already-existing collaboration with the UNA via the Erasmus KA171 program, in addition to undertaking the first steps for expanding these same actions with remaining DOCINADE partners. This program will promote mobility for faculty and students from both the UMH as well as the Costa Rican institutions that make up the consortium.
