The Faculty of Medicine (San Juan Campus) at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) is hosting the fifth Interuniversity European Meeting of Physiotherapy, beginning Monday, November 27 until Friday, December 1, 2023, and it is welcoming a delegation of Danish students and faculty from University College South Denmark.

With significant organizational and coordination effort, the UMH has put together an event that will close with conference sessions that are open to all UMH physiotherapy students. During the rest of the week, the participants on hand are going to attend lectures and view practical lessons, work together in groups, visit the services of physiotherapy at the hospitals of Elche and Alicante, as well as partake in cultural and gastronomical endeavors around the city of Alicante.

The primary aim of this event, besides fostering the use of English, is to strengthen links between universities and enhance the possibilities for exchanges by faculty and students, in addition to consolidating the relationship with the Danish university from Esbjerg.
