The Vice Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) hereby encourages all incoming, SICUE, and Destino students to take part in UMH Welcome Days 2024. This event is taking place virtually, after the holiday break, on Tuesday, January 30, and Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

On these two days, the staff at the Service of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism are going to introduce the university to new incoming, SICUE, and Destino students. The schedule for the event on Tuesday, January 30, is set to begin at 12:00 Central European Time, and continue until 13:30 CET with a photography contest. Then, on Wednesday, January 31, the event begins at 10:00 CET with a workshop to learn how to manage university documents and procedures. Events on this second day conclude at 11:50 CET.

UMH Welcome Days offers different workshops so that incoming, SICUE, and Destino students can learn about the services offered by the university, they receive information about the possibilities for finding housing, they learn about university facilities, as well as about athletic and cultural offerings. They also receive information about the Buddy Program and some useful tips for getting to know people from other countries, who speak different languages, and possess other cultures.
