In November, UMH Classrooms of Experience students enjoyed an Erasmus+ mobility stay at the French University of Pau and the Adour Region wherein they underwent academic and cultural training, which instilled them with new perspectives on how work is undertaken at other universities.

Over one week, the students attended classes on the French Revolution, Western manuscripts, and the great names in the history of jazz. Nieves Erades, the Head of Digital Literacy at SABIEX, summed up their training by calling it “enriching.”

“Overall, it was a very intense and deeply formative week. I believe that our students were able to learn, exchange experiences, make friends, and ultimately experience the university with an international perspective, which I am sure will leave a very positive mark on them,” added Erades.

This experience in France comes on the heels of a previous Erasmus+ mobility that took place in October at the Portuguese University of Beira Interior (UBI). Both mobilities are part of an initiative that is coordinated by the UMH Vice Rectorate for Culture, Equality, and Diversity and that of Internationalization and Cooperation.
