SICUE

The SICUE program (Exchange Program for Spanish universities) enables students from Spanish universities to complete portions of their degree programs at universities that are distinct from their universities of origin. SICUE ensures credit recognition for academic achievements while these students are on their exchanges, as well as adaptation to each student’s curricular profile. This program takes into account the training value of these exchanges, and makes it possible for these students to learn in unique training environments, including traineeships. SICUE exchange students also immerse themselves in distinct social and cultural aspects in new Spanish autonomous communities and cities.

2026-2027 Call
NEW (January 26, 2026) The Vice Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche hereby publishes the call for the national SICUE mobility program for students for the 2026-2027 school year. SICUE enables students to complete portions of their university degree programs at different universities, with guarantees of academic recognition for passed courses, as well as adaptation to their academic profile.

The period for submitting applications is open January 30 thru February 13, 2026.
There are two steps to take to submit your application:

*Please keep the following in mind when choosing prioritized destinations:
— When the application asks for a mobility start date, it refers to the approximate dates for either one semester or one full school year:
September 1, 2026 – February 1, 2027: for just fall semester (6 months)
February 1 – July 31, 2027: for just spring semester (6 months)
September 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027: for the complete school year (9 months)
2. Submission via the ELECTRONIC OFFICE. After completing the online application form, click Tramitar to go to the instancia to submit it via the ELECTRONIC OFFICE along with the complementary required documentation:
- Photocopy of the student’s Spanish National ID Card.
- Unofficial student transcript (available via the student’s Authenticated Access), which includes the grades throughout the student’s time in the university, and up until the preceding school year (grades earned during fall semester of the 2025/2026 school year are not considered). You may attend the offices for help in terms of UMH registration to obtain a digital signature.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
When submitting your online application from personalized access, please use the Explorer Internet browser. Any other browser is susceptible to creating problems and making it impossible to download the PDF of the completed application that students must submit to the Service of International Relations via the Electronic Office along with their transcript extract and their Spanish National ID Card

On January 1, 2026, in accordance with CRUE-SICUE instructions, the call for this program will be published, and this will indicate the deadlines for submitting applications to participate in addition to the instructions for students on how to complete their application forms.
2025-2026 Call

SICUE enables students to complete portions of their university education at different universities, with guarantees of academic recognition for passed courses, as well as adaptation to their academic profile.
