Call for mobility grants offered by French embassy for research stays in France
Mobility grants are hereby announced for research stays in France. These are aimed exclusively at doctoral students or postdoctoral researchers in Spanish higher education or at a research center. These mobility grants, lasting two weeks or one month, providing a stipend of €925 or €1,850, respectively, are intended to take place during the spring semester of 2026. Applicants may not hold French nationality.
Furthermore, there is also a grant program for established researchers that awards grants of €1,000 per project within the framework of Spain-France cooperation. The grant is flexible and can be used for the publication of scientific papers, the provision of materials, investigator mobility, or the organization of academic events such as seminars and conferences.
Both calls focus on strategic areas, including health, space, quantum mechanics/physics/theory, artificial intelligence, the circular economy, energy, climate, electronics, aging, and combating disinformation, including the humanities and social sciences related to these topics.
The application period for these grants is open February 18 – March 9, 2026.

Call for Grants to study graduate Programs at ITESO, Mexico 2026
This grant is aimed at non-Mexican nationals linked to non-Mexican higher education institutions associated with the AUIP.
The application period is open through May 1, 2026, until 23:59 horas (GMT/UTC+02:00) Madrid.

Call for Chinese Government Grants 2025-2026
The grants are aimed at individuals of Spanish nationality or from a European Union country who can 
prove their residence in Spain and who meet the specific requirements for the type of grants chosen.
There are five modalities of these grants:
- General Scholar Program
- Undergraduate Program
- Master´s Program
- Doctoral Program
- Senior Scholar Program
