Training course on internationalization of university teaching at UMH

The Vice Rectorate for International Relations at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), along with the Service of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism, has organized an online course offering support for the internationalization of teaching.

Some 100 faculty members have enrolled in this new training activity that is taking place over three sessions during the month of June. The first is taking place this Friday, June 4, 2021. This initial session will present the seminar, and then review the internationalization strategies of the UMH and the Erasmus+ program.

The second session is taking place on June 11, 2021. It will offer full information for the instructors on protocols and types of agreements with other universities and the promotion of dual international degree programs.

The final session, on Friday, June 18, will address support for the internationalization of teaching, the importance of internationalization for teaching careers, and questions will be taken to resolve doubts related to cooperation and volunteerism.

All online sessions of this course take place from 10:30 – 12:30 Central European Time.

This three-part seminar is being offered at a time when the internationalization of UMH teaching and international mobility are both growing, and expanding borders in the post-pandemic world this is proving to be a challenge.
