UMH participates in Virtual Technical Conference between Canada and Spain organized by EDUESPAÑA

The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) and the Association for the Progress of Spanish as an Economic and Strategic Resource (EduEspaña) collaborate in the ICEX international promotion plan for Spanish educational services, which is supported by the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade. During the days of May 9 – 10, 2023, Canadian universities and higher education institutions participated in virtual conferences with the aim of promoting international agreements with Spanish educational institutions as well as exploring study possibilities for their students in Spain.

As part of the international promotion plan, a program of virtual conferences was created to offer Spanish educational organizations the opportunity to exchange information and to introduce their institutions to representatives of international programs & alliances from 8 Canadian universities. The 2023 Virtual Educational Conferences are aimed at markets that may be of interest to Spanish educational providers.

The UMH took advantage of these conference interviews to open its doors to Canadian students and faculty by presenting its offer of undergraduate programs, courses in English, and Erasmus mobility programs for students, faculty, and staff. The UMH participated in EduEspaña 2023 to publicize its campuses (Altea, Elche, Orihuela, and San Juan), the Scientific Park, as well as university faculties, such as the Faculty of Experimental Sciences and the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences.
